Boil: Does it matter what you call it? By definition, boils are infected while cysts are not (although they can become so). You can apply warm compresses but if you feel it's full of pus and it hurts, then you need to see your FamilyDoc who can drain it. Don't wait for red streaks or fevers/sweats/chills.
