8month old baby has a small raised bump on his scalp on the bottom of his head for about 1 month.dr took skin sample to check for bacterial/fungal.says it looks skin irritation but if clear than to do an ultrasound.i'm nervous it could be cyst?

Not having seen him it is hard to be of much help. Our kids used to get what was called Cradle cap. I always called in Cradle crap. ;-). I would not see good reason to do an ultrasouind but then have not seen him. Good luck. Let your Dr be the guide is my advice.
