See answer: Does eating or defecation provoke pain? It sounds like it is positional and could be abdominal wall pain rather than visceral (related to organs like stomach) especially if your CT and EGD were normal.

Had a CT scan come back normal 4 months ago, pain is back in the left abdomen/left upper & mid back, blood in stool at times. from dull to painful.
Mid back pain and ULQ/Epigastric pain for 3 Mos. Fatigue, tiredness, & trouble sleeping. Went to ER for severe pain 1 week ago, but blood work didn't show anything. Back pain bad today. Should I go to ER and insist they do more? My PCP won't help.
