I have tmj problem for 1 year, my dentist said its because of my wisdom teeth. i just had it extracted, will it help to heal my tmj?

NO: No. TMJ and wisdom teeth symptoms can overlap. But removing wisdom teeth will not improve any TMJ problem.

May or May Not: TMJ problems may be due to a number of different causes. Any patient who has a significant TMJ problem needs to have a thorough evaluation to determine possible causes. The removal of the wisdom teeth may not "cure" your TMJ problem, but it could help decrease some of the symptoms.
