Sudden left ear feel clogged, some hear loss with tinnitus, vanishes in 3-7 secs, also ear (clicks) when someone stops speaking or noise stop?

First thought...: if this is new, then the first thought would be eustachian tube dysfunction leading to fluid build up in the middle ear. Inflammation in the nose and/or throat (sometimes due to acid reflux) is a common cause.
