I have left ear unilateral tinnitus. the other symptoms i've noticed is that when i open and close my jaw i hear clicks and crackles. when i jump my left ear pops - if i press my hand under my jaw the popping stops. what could be the tinnitus cause?

Would agree with a basic assessment by an otolaryngologist, but if answers are not forthcoming would seek a dental consultation to evaluate an underlying Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome problem, as the mechanism.
