A member asked:

Is invisalign safe to wear immediately after a front tooth root canal?

It should be: If you have any discomfort, report it to your orthodontic provider but it should be ok unless major trauma to your tooth is what lead to your needing root canal therapy. Report any problems but don't just stop wearing the aligners without discussion first.

Wait 7-10 days: Once the root canal is complete and the tooth is stabilized and asymptomatic, then you restart active invisalign treatment.

Root Canals: Yes, the Invisalign procedure is safe for a tooth that has a root canal and crown The process is very gentle and shouldn’t damage the tooth or crown unless the crown was improperly installed. Tell your dentist about the tooth, so they can keep a close eye on it.
