Methotrexate is list: As category X, which is absolute contraindicated. Needs to be off the medication minimum three months before conceiving. With all these being said, have I seen patient being on. Methotrexate conceived and then stop the medication and still has a healthy baby? Yes. But I still highly recommend NOT to be on it prior to any family planning! The study on Humira (adalimumab) is still controvertial.
