Possibly not needed: With a good response, i would consider a slow taper of the Methotrexate starting after about 3 months of treatment.

Maybe Not: Methotrexate does not work very well for spondyloarthropathies, but there is a chance that it would reduce the odds of developing drug-inactivating antibodies against the humira (adalimumab). In any case, discuss any medication changes with the prescribing md before proceeding.
