Maybe: It depends on the severity of the depression. For mild depression alternative treatments which may help include exercise, eating a healthy diet, therapy, herbal supplements (i.e. 5 htp, same and st john's wort), and support groups. Vitamin d, omega 3 and a b complex can also be beneficial. Please see a medical professional if your symptoms worsen or do not improve.
