No.: BP meds work to control blood pressure when you are resting as well as when you are working or exercising. Your office BP elevation can be from the type of work or increased work stress. It is sort of related to white coat BP that happens when you are in doctor's office. If the office BP is persistently high, then talk to your doctor to see if you need adjustment of the dose of your BP meds.
