I have been getting severe headaches the neurosurgeons say my shunt is working but said something about low pressure and my ventricle is slit like?

In adults, slit-: ventricle syndrome is not as serious an issue as it is in children who have shunts. Observation with or without anti-migraine medicines may be most prudent, especially in someone who has had resection of a brain tumor. Your headaches may go away, but ask your neurosurgeons what specific symptoms or time-frame would signal the need for more invasive investigation or treatment. They're on your side!

See neurologist: If the neurosurgeon does not feel that it is a shunt problem then it may be helpful for you to see a neurologist. They are the headache specialist. Perhaps they could work with your neurosurgeon to get you some relief.
