I have a vp shunt ive been getting severe headaches and my recent scan revealed i have a collapsed ventricle in my brain that my shunt is in can this cause problems and headaches?

Neurologist: Severe headaches can definitely be caused by any problems with your VP shunt. Talk to your Neurologist about worsening headaches and other problems as they are more familiar with your specific case and can address your concerns.

Status: The first order of business is status of the shunt; i.e., is it working properly? See a neurosurgeon and get this checked. This may indeed be the cause of your symptoms.
