A member asked:

I have a vp shunt(1.5yrs). i am exhausted all the time, have hand tremors, speech problems, vertigo, balance issues. no real bad headaches. should i contact the neurosurgeon or see if a few days of rest helps first? have anxiety, but its under control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not feasible to accurately sort this out based on the data provided. This may represent a shunt failure, but also an additional superimposed problem. Yes, see your neurosurgeon, and if no clear answers, follow up with your regular doctor.
