Probably....: The fact that her doctors have allowed her to wake up and she is breathing on her own are all indications that she is improving. Has she been weaned off the ventilator yet? If not, that is likely the next step. She will need a lot of rehab to fully recover but the little that you have written does sound like she is on her way to recovery. Congratulations and best of luck to both of you!!!
