A 16-year-old friend of mine was admitted to a hospital. first diagnosis was bacterial meningitis, 2 days in the icu, got out and her parents moved her to a new hospital. to which she was diagnosed of sepsis. now she's in coma, will she recover?

Assuming appropriate antibiotics, and other supportive measures are being utilized, most folks of her age tend to recover from the septicemia. An infectious disease specialist would be quite useful.

It is hard to answer your question without further details of her acute conditions including current labs, imaging, current respiratory and circulatory status. Prognosis can be ascertained from the treating ICU physician
