Anxiety/normal CBC: The CBC(complete blood count) is remarkably normal for just having had major surgery in the form of a C/section. Numbness in the incisional area is typical for up to 6 weeks after surgery as skin surface(cutaneous) nerves were severed but will re-grow. New babies raise anxieties over their initial health and care. Share your concerns with your treating OB MD.

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, your Hb and MCV are a little low suggesting iron deficiency. It would be desirable to take oral iron supplement and multivitamins. You may wish to resume physical activity as tolerated.
