Smallish red cells: And your red cell count is high-normal, with a high-ish RDW. Ask your physician whether you might have thalassemia minor if he/she doesn't know already. Thal minor is a non-problem unless you plan to have your family with someone else who also has it. If there are red cell fragments on the peripheral smear, this might account for the picture.
