6 x 2 = 12 puffs: If the ProAir is to be every 4-6 hours, that means waiting at least 4 hours between each 2 puffs. One use or one dose is 2 puffs. That comes out to 12 puffs per day (6 uses or 6 doses). If a person seems to need more than that, she must contact the doctor because not everybody gets better with 4-6 hour dosing. Some need it less. Some need additional medication and care.
