UTI: There are antibiotic-resistant UTI, recurrence or persistent infection. Sometimes there are an anatomic factor that should be treated to resolve infection, it could be also some daily habits, sexual life, concurrent infections (vaginal for example). The first treatment is commonly an empiric antibiotic, if you still have an infection is recommended to make a culture, and maybe change the meds.
