Why is the range so different on complete blood count panels for different labs and medical centers? it doesn't make sense.

Age and gender etc.: For many laboratory tests, the normal ranges vary by the method used to do the test. Also there are different normal values for different ages and sexes. The Labs usually report their normal ranges with the test results. All lab results need to interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the test is usually in the best position to do that.
