A member asked:

What happens to your blood when you have covid-19? would your labs look different than normal? could you tell you had it based on standard lab results?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Specific & nonspecic: General lab tests show changes associated with most acute infections like high white cell counts. You can't tell if you had this infection unless you look for specific viral makers or antibodies
