Very Common: It is a common but annoying consequence of administering oxygen by nasal cannula. It helps if you use a saline nasal spray for lubrication and take benadryl (diphenhydramine) by mouth. It is also possible that you could have acquired a cold, since you were in a hospital but your complaints are well documented.
