My baby is 3 weeks old weighing 3.2 kg . was diagnoses with a chest infection . symptoms were *wheezing, runny nose , sneezing and coughing. we were given amoxicillin oral sus.. 1.5ml 12 hourly for 5 days. is this dosage correct ?

Please provide the milligram dosing. The concentration may vary. A typical daily dose is 40 to 50 mg per kg per day. RSV testing may be helpful. Watch for signs of poor feeding and difficulty breathing. If in distress, please see the Emergency room.
