Exercise and diet: Exercising at least 30 minutes a day and eating less dairy and red meat and more vegetables fruits whole grains and fish can help some too. Consider a fish oil supplement. Any excess weight that she has could be reduced may help. Know that high cholesterol is sometimes genetic and doing everything right may not be enough. Work with her doctor to best decide.
