Impacted...: If you have a big, hard, stool that won't pass out of your body, you are "impacted". Treatment for the condition starts with manual removal of the impacted stool. This involves inserting a finger into the rectum to break-up the impacted stool and remove it piece by piece. You might want to try a mineral oil enema first. It will soften the stool so that you might be able to pass it.
