I took 2 exlax wednesday night. had slight bm on thursday afternoon. took 3 stool softeners thursday night. nothing. used a suppository this afternoon. little more bm. still fill bloated and belly hurts. now what? type 2 diabetic. several meds. bydureon.

You need to: "correct" your colonic situation FROM ABOVE! Start increasing your FLUID INTAKE! Start eating FOODS WITH BULKING PROPERTIES..RICE CEREALS/BANANAS Metamucil if you cannot tolerate the above. SPEAK WITH YOUR PCP since it must be determined that increasing bulk is safe (no obstructions etc) Finally if this repeats SEE a GI specialist you may have a form of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) Good Luck .Z
