I have chronic knee pain and i want my life back and the only medicine i have taken that helps is tramadol and gabapentin is this realistic or am i so?

Alternative options: Stating it is chronic I assume you've had this evaluated. Do you have a diagnosis? If not formally evaluated, this should be done. You're fairly young for arthritis unless you've had injuries of the knee. For starters you can try OTC Glucosamine and/or Cod Liver Oil capsules (3 per day) and/or Aspercreme.

No.: You shouldn't be relying on Tramadol and Gabapentin for knee pain at age 23. See a non-surgical sports medicine physician, who can sort things out, and come up with a treatment plan.
