Alternative options: Your doctor did offer accepted treatments. Gabapentin needs to start low and build up,to,therapeutic levels over weeks e.g 100-200mg daily to 600mg 3 x daily. NSAIDS like ibuprofen are good for your pain. Curcumin 2000mg daily can help the inflammation, stop red meat and corn products (inflammatory), and get an EMG of L leg to determine if this is a spine issue, and benefit from different Rx.

Antipain diet: 400mg of magnesium, 3000mg omega -3 (fish oil, flax seed), avoid sugar, grains, dairy. Best
