Ulnar neuropathy: Actually the dose of Gabapentin you are taking is low. We routinely start low to prevent side effects then titrate slowly to higher doses. Target doses for my patients can go into the 3000 mg per day range. If this fails then other meds lyrica, (pregabalin) Cymbalta are worth trying. Also may be worth having an ulnar injection to reduce nerve irritation.

Steroid injection: A steroid injection may be effective in reducing inflammation contributing to your pain. In addition, your Neurontin (gabapentin) dose can be increased if you are having no side effects. Discuss these options with your physician.
