Hello, are these two drugs (methotrexate and misoprostol) used together along with a iud in the treatment of uterine fibroid?

Fibroid treatment: Uterine fibroids are not treated with methotexate. Cytotec (misoprostol) has been used to induce abortion and decrease menstrual blood flow but is not able to shrink fibroids. I have never heard of an IUD being used to treat uterine fibroids. Consult with your gynecologist is your fibroids are causing pain or excessive bleeding.
