My husband is an excessive drinker he had bright red blood in his urine this morning after drinking alcohol he has been having right side pain & abd?

Kidney stones: cannot say in your particular case, but generally, kidney pain and blood would imply that. alcohol doesn't directly affect the kidney (liver yes) but this can be assocciated wtih an increased risk of stones.

Blood in Urine: You are a Caring wife! I understand your concern. It is possible that falling down under influence of Alcohol may have caused trauma to some part of urinary system-Kidney, Ureter, Bladder or Urethra. It can also be due to infection, Kidney or Bladder stone. Please take him to E.R. have all necessary Urine analysis, Blood tests, Radiological studies and Consultations for Diagnosis and Treatment.
