Neuritis.: It sounds like either the tourniquet used to control the blood flow during the procedure, or needle trauma from the injections to numb the toe, or both, have irritated the digital nerves. This would effect the blood flow to the toe as well as the sensory mechanism. These problems are rare but can happen in the course of fixing the toe. Time should slowly renormalize the condition.
