Typhoid: Typhoid is usually acquired through consumption of water or food that has been contaminated by the feces of one with the disease. Transmission through sexual contact is rare and that is through anal sex. Your chances are low. I can find no recommendation to use antibiotics in a prophylactic manner. Good hand and food hygiene and vaccination are your best protections.
