Hi doc. stuck a qtip in my right ear with jaw open...it was itching. hurt a bit wheb hit the side and blood was on the qtip. how bad is this? thank

Q-tip ear trauma: Greetings. Some of the worse ear traumas that I have seen have come from self-induced q-tip injuries. Bad symptoms associated with q-tip injuries would be vertigo/dizziness, severe hearing loss, ringing or tinnitus and excessive pain/bleeding. See your doctor for evaluation.

Trauma to ear: Could have scratched canal or perorated ear drum so see doctor asap. Nothing smaller tan your elbow in your ear, so no more Q -tips.
