Do NOT worry: You describe an ongoing tension headache, which may be getting triggered from neck issues, but could also be associated with migraine or occipital neuralgia. I don't worry about tumors, blood clots, or stroke issues with you, and think this is mostly annoying and benign. Physical therapy and mild analgesic might help.

Tension headache: Heat to neck and back of head then stretching then ice, You can try ibuprofen or Alieve and if not improving see PCP.
