See doc ASAP: The older you are , the more likely a new-onset headache can be serious. See your doctor ASAP. Have you hit your head recently?

If this is brand new: & if you're experiencing any neurological symptoms such as weakness in an arm, leg, slurred speech, uncontrolled nausea/vomiting, loss of balance, double vision or other physical things other than pain you should be evaluated in an ER, however, if this is going on for a week, and you've had headaches of some nature in the past and none of what I said is happening, get an appointment with your doc
