The more,: the merrier. Although three implants would be ideal, two implants may suffice. It really depends on your bite and opposing dentition. The decision should be based on clinical findings and determined between you and your surgeon/restorative dentist. No cut and dry answer to your question.

2 implants: No need for more than 2 if the bone is available in the correct locations and is sufficient in volume and dimension. Implants are able to support more teeth than your natural teeth when used to create a bridge. We routinely support 12 teeth on as few as 4 implants (All-on-4 concept). See the expert - the Prosthodontist- for evaluation and options before making your decision. Good Luck.

3 implants: I would recommend 3 implants because #11 is a very important tooth to replace and tying it together with a bridge adds extra stress to the entire area you are replacing. # If money is a factor, do implants #11 and 12 now and #13 later when you can. # 11 is best as a stand alone implant do to the amount of stress that tooth takes because it turns the corner of your mouth. Hope this helps.

No-brainer: If missing 11 ,12,13 teeth, they should be restored with 3 dental implants.
