Hard to say: Without knowing a lot more detail about the nature of the pain, the exact location, what makes it worse or better etc. it's difficult to speculate as to possible causes. Consider an online consultation at Health Tap where you could go into more detail about the nature of your problem. A video or voice consultation would be best.

May be it's: muscle pain like when you twisted the ribs and hurt the muscle inside - called the intercostal muscle. Or it could be referred pain from an internal organ being sick, like the gallbladder or lung. Yours is on the left so not gallbladder. If it continues and doesn't get better after taking some ibuprofen 1-2 tabs 3 times a day x3-4 days, see a HC professional.
