Recurring canker sores on inside of lips and tongue. tongue feels raw and my mucous and saliva feels acidic. the inside of my mouth visibly looks good. any ideas what this could be? hiv negative and recent cbc bloodwork came back normal.

Check for reflux: If your dental health is otherwise good, I would consider acid reflux as a potential cause. However one need to rule a candida infection as well and this would require an immune evaluation in the absence of diabetes. Talk to your doctor.
