i had a bump in my mouth that i poked at and now it has moved and spread out (not get bigger, just longer) could it be a mucocele that didn't drain?

Bump: The only way to tell what the bump is is by seeing a dentist and have it evaluated. Don't wait for it to get worse.

Suspicious bump: I would advise you to have the bump examined by a dentist or dental specialist (e.g. oral surgeon, OFP), to help you with a diagnosis and treatment, if needed.
