I've noticed a small purple bump on my lower lip, doesn't hurt, bleed or puss. it's not a mucocele nor a cold sore. i've had it for a couple of weeks.

Venous lakes: It most likely is venous lakes. Just to be safe though it would be important to have your dentist verify. A quick visit to your dentist should be able to rule out anything else! Hope this helps!

Vein: Likely a venous malformation. Have an oral surgeon (not general dentist) check it. Otherwise, needs no treatment unless oral surgeon feels it is otherwise. Then biopsy would be indicated.
