I keep breaking out in a rash at night on my arms and back. what could this be?

Very difficult to: say without a picture or a little more information. Of course one of the most common rashes is simple contact dermatitis from an irritating soap, lotion, fragrance, poison ivy, etc. Also common: rash from taking a medication. If possible, submit a picture and we may be able to be of more help .... or go in to you doctor for evaluation. Good wishes:)
