A member asked:

What does adenomatous changes involving both lobes and the isthmus with diffuse heterogeneity and with relatively benign-appearing hypoechoic density mean? my primary doctor doesn't seem concerned and i am still waiting for the results of my uptake test.

Complex report: RRaza ~ :-)) this is the very complicated way of saying that you have a diffusely enlarged thyroid, consistent with a multi-nodular goitre with a single dominant nodule. The nodule will need to be watched because there is slight increased incidence in malignancy, (if you can needle it biopsy done) but TSH will come back normal no doubt and no treatment involved. Surgery occasionally if massive.
