A member asked:

I have 28 symptoms of ms. nothing shows up in my blood work. had a mri and it says single focus of altered subcortical white matter signal within the left frontal lobe. my doctor said i would have lesions. is that what the results mean?

Based upon your post, so far, you have NO evidence of Clinically Definite MS, whatever your purported "28 symptoms of MS". The MRI is NOT confirmatory. Rarely, lesions are noted if an MRI of the cervical spinal cord is imaged. Urge you obtain a second opinion from a neurologist who has extensive experience, as the false negative MS diagnosis rate is about 25-30 %!!
