A member asked:

Is 30-45 min of walking on the treadmill @ 3.5mph @ 9% incline 3-5x weekly enough for maintaining general health? cardio-health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cardiovasculr health: Absolutely. American Heart Association recommends at least 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise or 75 minutes per week of vigorous exercise (or a combination of moderate and vigorous activity). Thirty minutes a day, five times a week is an easy goal to remember.
