Probably: As brisk walking with an incline for longer period of time is likely expending more energy.

Cross training: Rather than focus on which one is better, ask yourself about your goals. If you are training for sprints and plan to win, then endurance training (longer times like walking the treadmill) will benefit your goal. In general cross training is a benefit, keeps your interest, try new exercises, work different muscle groups.
