What's in a Freckle.: There are many conditions that can bring about a freckling response, most due to some sort of insult to the skin. The trauma might be in the form of sunlight or even surgical trauma. Skin cuts and burns can cause a freckling reaction. Genetics, skin color and other factors may also contribute to the freckling phenomena.
