Low risk: This is a low risk situation for your baby. Golden retrievers are not on the list of dog breeds known to maul children. As you mention if you and your husband do not suffer from allergies, chances are your child will not either, and certainly not as a 20 day old. It is reasonable to keep him out of baby's room. The rules change when she starts toddling, so keep in touch! Congrats!
