Candidiasis possibly: Candidiasis is a fungal infection that can occur on the tongue ad/or other areas in the mouth. In infants it is often called thrush. It leaves a white coating that can be scrapped off. The tissue under the coating is sore and bleeds easily. This condition must be treated with appropriate medication. Please see your dentist for an evaluation asap.
